Plumbing Estimate Mixer Shower

To give a plumbing estimate on the mixer shower we have not included the materials and estimates are based on the allowed time given.

• 106 - Like for Like Mixer Shower. (To fit a like for like replacement, the cost for this will come to £90 and is estimated at 1 hour).
• 106/a - Mixer Shower with easy conections within 100mm. (To fit a new shower as long as it is straight for with connection within 100mm then the cost for this will come upto £150 and will take about 2 hours).
• 106/b - Mixer Shower Cartridge. (Replacing a mixer shower cartridge is fairly easy but will cost the minimum of 1 hour at £90).

Replacing a mixer shower can be fairly easy just like replace the mixer shower where the engineer will either turn the mains water off and drain down the complete hot water system or simply isolate the shower if there is an isolation valve. Sometimes when replace the shower it can be a little more complicated due to there being new holes having to be drilled and as long as the holes are being drilled in to ceramic tiles then this should be done within the time scale. Other complication can be can be obstructions to the 15mm pipe from behind the shower and how easy to the connection. The size of pipe can also be a problem as it is known some showers but not many have a 22mm pipe due to a low pressure system.
