Plumbing Estimate Basin

To give a plumbing estimate on the basin we have not included the materials and estimates are based on the allowed time given.

• 102 - Replace Basin. (to replace a standard basin we would have to include a new relocated waste pipe up to 100ml which would take an estimate time of 2 hours at the cost of £130 labour)
• 102/a - Replace Basin Taps. (to replace a set of basin taps as long at the pipe work is easy enough to get to and work on this would take an estimated 30 - 60 minutes and would cost the minimum of 1 hour at the cost of £90).
• 102/b - Replace Basin Taps & Waste. (Replace the taps and the waste fittings, can take a similar time to replace a complete new basin and therefor cost almost the same saving the customer £20) Estimate 1 hour 40 minutes at £115.00).

It is very important to know when fitting or replacing a new basin that it important to find whether ther are Ceramic or Porcelain tiles and this can have a great deal in time added on to the work. Alway makes sure there is good installation to and from the original basin as there may be hidden work that may be need. In most cases when replacing the waste to the basin, the basin will have to be taken off the wall and fully cleaned so that any new waste has good connections so the gaurantee will stand. In some cases it has been know for the taps and waste to be cemented in and in these case it becomes very unfortunate that a new basin will be required and the plumber will need to be paid the minimum cost which is for 1 hour of his time as long as the time of the job is done within the hour.
